2. Tour Languages: English or German
To give you the best experience for your money, I stick to one language during the tour. This avoids the time-consuming (and boring) task of repeating everything in a second language. The default language for tours is my mother tongue: English. If everyone in the group agrees, I can switch to German, which is my second language. In future, I hope to add Italian as an option. Please indicate which language you prefer. I am open to special requests.
3. Meeting Point and Time
The meeting point for the tour is in front of the entrance to the church of St. Vigilio in the center of the Gandria 10 minutes before the scheduled starting time.
4. Personal Safety
Please be aware that Gandria is located on a steep hillside, and we will be walking up and down several flights of steps during the tour. You need to be in good health and have a basic level of conditioning to participate. Because of the location, this tour is not wheelchair accessible or suitable for people with physical impairments pertaining to walking. The tour operator cannot take responsibility for accidents that might occur during the tour. By participating, you acknowledge that you are doing so at your own risk.
After you’ve finished your walking tour of Gandria, there’s a lot more to see in Lugano. Check out these suggested itineraries from the tourism office of the Lugano Region.
